The Hung and the Breastless

The Hung and Breastless went 3-0 again this week for the 2nd week in a row. They also stretched their first place lead to 4 points over the Collective. They started their day with a win against the Predators in a close game. HB won 4-2 with an empty net goal. Their 2nd win came against the Flames, 5-3. James McKinnon led the way with his first hattrick. HB won their 6th straight game to finish the day, winning 5-3 against the Collective to gain another 2 pts for first place. James scored the most points for his team this Sunday with 6 points, which included 5 goals.

The Collective

The Collective went 2-1 this past Sunday. They started the day with an 8-4 win over the Flames on the strength of Rick Haines hattrick. Evan Bartlett had his first 4 point game of the season in the win. Rick followed up in their next game with 4 goals in a close 6-4 win against the Predators. Larry Condly chipped in an empty net goal to seal the win. The Collective took a loss in their final game of the day, setting them 4 pts back of first place, HB. Rick Haines led his team's scoring with 11 points Sunday, which included 8 goals.

The Predators

The Predators finished this Sunday with a 1-2 record. They started their day with a 4-1 win over the Flames with 4 different players scoring for the Preds. They had the same balanced scoring last week against the Flames. They lost their final two games each by two goals, each with empty net goals. There have been only 3 empty net goals this season, all when Scott Sheppard was pulled for the extra player. Scott has a hard time with those empty net goals. Art McCoy and Vince MacDonald led their team's scoring with 7 points. Art had the most goals with 4.

The Flames

The Flames ended up 0-3 for the 2nd consecutive week. Travis Haines, the Flames new goalie, was making his debut in nets. Welcome to the league Travis. He becomes the 4th goalie to play for the Flames this season, and despite coming up with a respectable 17 goals against, he failed to come away with a victory. The Flames only managed to score 8 goals during their 3 games this week and still have not won this year, presently on a 7 game losing streak dating back to December. Dave Whitten led his team's scoring this week with 5 points, which included 4 goals.
