Game 1 - HB vs. Flames
The first game began with Hung and Breastless against the Flames. HB took a 2-0 lead late into the game with earlier goals from Dan LeBlanc and Peter Wolters, but when Dennis Moffitt completed the natural hattrick with less than a minute left, the Flames began the playoffs with 3-2 win in game one and take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Game 2 - Collective vs. Predators
The second game started the playoff series between the Collective and the Predators. Troy Doyle and Yvon Mayer traded goals with Rick Haines and Mark Whitlock to lock up a 2-2 tie until Mark Cress scored the winning goal late in the game, and the Predators held on to a 3-2 win in game one to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Game 3 - HB vs. Flames
The third game saw the Hung and Breastless come out HUNGry and blasted their way to an 8-1 win, with James McKinnon scoring a hattrick. Dan and Peter had 2 goals each and Harold Plante scored to round out HB's scoring. Scott Praught scored the Flames only goal to spoil Darryl Moorcraft's shutout bid but tied the semi-final series 1-1.
Game 4 - Collective vs. Predators
The fourth game was another close game between the Predators and Collective but this time the Collective came out on the winning end of a 4-3 game. Grant Donovan, Rick Bartlett, Brian Merrithew and Mark scored the Collective's goals. Troy Doyle had 2 goals and Art McCoy had the other goal for the Predators. Series is now tied 1-1.
Game 5 - HB vs. Flames
The fifth game turned out to be another blowout, this time with the Hung and Breastless winning 9-1. Dan and Peter both had hattricks in the game. James chipped in a couple of goals and Harold had one to finish more than enough offense to win since Darryl never surrendered a goal until about 5 seconds left in the game. Jim Taylor broke the shutout on a feed from Dennis. HB take a 2-1 lead in the semi-finals.
Game 6 - Collective vs. Predators
The sixth game turned out to be much easier for at least the Collective who jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead and held on finishing 6-1. Grant had a hattrick in the game and Mike Moore, Brian and Rick B all had single goals for the Collective while Yvon spoiled Paul Richard's shutout bid, scoring the Predators lone goal. The Collective take a 2-1 series lead.
