Game 1 - HB vs. Collective
The first game of the day was game #3 of the Finals between the Collective and Hung and Breastless. The game was played very tight, with very little room to move around and when there was a chance, Paul Richard and Darryl Moorcraft were there to dismiss it. James McKinnon and Shawn Phillips traded goals with Mike Moore and Mark Whitlock and eventually Mike scored his 2nd goal of the game for the game winner as the Collective hung on for the 3-2 win, giving them a 2-1 games lead in the Finals.
Game 2 - Predators vs. Flames
The second game of the day was game #3 of the 3rd place playoff between the Predators and the Flames. The Predators were looking to close out the deal, being up 2-0 in games. They came out to a quick lead. The Flames still keeping within range showed signs of a comeback later in the game, but every time they would get within one goal, the Preds would score again. Troy Doyle took care of most of the scoring with 4 goals in an eventual 6-5 Predators win, capturing 3rd place. Art McCoy and Kevin Stafford scored the other goals for the Preds. The Flames got their scoring from Jim Taylor and Dennis Moffitt with 2 goals each and one goal from Phil Cronkite.
Game 3 - HB vs. Collective
The third game of the day was game #4 of the Finals. It turned out to be another close game, a real nail biter. The teams traded goals back and forth most of the game. The Collective had a 4-3 lead late in the game but couldn't hold it as the Hung and Breastless scored to put the game into overtime. The ball was dropped to take the faceoff, which the Collective won, back to Rick Haines, who passed over to Mark Whitlock, who took the shot on net before Grant Donovan controlled the slight rebound to complete the hattrick as he scored in the open net, technically 4 seconds into overtime, and that's all she wrote. Mike and Rick Bartlett scored the other goals for the Collective, while Dan LeBlanc scored a pair and Doug Taylor and Peter Wolters had the others.
