Collective Go 3-0 Despite Missing Top Scorer
HB and the Preds Tie For the 3rd Week In a Row

The Collective
The Collective stretched their lead to 4 points by going 3-0 this past week, despite missing, top scorer, Grant Donovan, who was injured the previous week. Larry Condly picked up the pace in their first game, scoring 4 goals in the win over the Flames. Their 2nd game was tied 2-2 later in the game when Larry scored the winning goal. He added 2 more goals in the Collective's 3rd win of the day. They've now won 9 of their last 10 games. Mike Moore led his team in points this week with 10, which included 6 goals, while Larry led his team in goals with 7.
The Predators
The Predators also went 1-1-1 for the day, keeping pace with HB. The Preds played another 3 close games where they won the first game against the Flames, 4-2, then settled on a 2-2 tie against HB, in the goaltenders' battle. Scott Sheppard provided excellent goaltending in Kelvin's absence only giving up 7 goals on the day, the fewest goals surrendered by a goalie during a week, so far.. Scott was the 3rd goaltender to play for the Preds this season. Yvon Mayer led his team this past Sunday with 5 points which included 3 goals.
The Flames
The Flames, missing their captain, went 0-3 for the day. That brings the non captained teams to a 1-8 record. Despite, Jim Taylor scoring 4 goals against the Collective, it still wasn't enough as they dropped the first game 9-6. They played a close game against the Predators but ended up with a 4-2 loss. Richard Morneau was back this past week to play nets but failed to pick up his 2nd win of the season, after beating the Predators in the first week of the season. Jim Taylor led his team this week with 7 points, which included 5 goals.
The Hung and the Breastless
The Hung and The Breastless went 1-1-1 for the 2nd week in a row. Their first game was another goaltenders duel, this time, between Darryl Moorcraft and Scott Sheppard. The two teams tied for the 3rd week in a row, this week, 2-2 and H&B maintain a one point lead over the Preds for 2nd place. Their win came against the Flames where 6 different HB players scored to win 7-2. Dan LeBlanc and Harold Plante let their team's scoring Sunday with 7 points each. They also had the most goals, each with 3.
