The Flames

The Flames went 2-1-0 this past Sunday. They had the best record this week for the first time this season. It was also the first time this season they used the same goaltender 3 weeks in a row. They lost their first game against HB, but rebounded with back to back wins against the Predators and the Collective. Dennis Moffitt had a 4 goal game in the 8-2 win against the Collective, who they've won two in a row against, outscoring them 18-7, after losing their first 7 meetings. The Flames have won 3 of their last 4 games. Dennis Moffitt led his team's scoring for the day with 10 points, including 6 goals.

The Predators

The Predators went 1-1-1 Sunday. They started the day with a decisive 10-3 victory over the Collective with Dale Lyons 4 goal game and Yvon Mayer's hattrick leading the way. They then tied HB 3-3 for the second consecutive week, stretching the Preds unbeaten streak to 7 games before losing their final game of the day to the Flames. The Preds still sit in 3rd place but only 3 points back of 1st place. Kelvin Hoyt had 6 points for the day, more points than most players, but Art McCoy had the most points for his team with 9. Yvon had the most goals with 5.

The Hung and The Breastless

The Hung and Breastless went 1-1-1 for the day, moving within 2 points of 1st place. Dan, with his 4 goal game last week, now has 2 consecutive weeks with hattricks. The HB's last game of the day ended in another 3-3 tie against the Predators, enabling them to stay one point ahead of the Preds for 2nd place. Harold Plante led his team's scoring this week with 5 points. Dan had the most goals, scoring 4.

The Collective

The Collective went 1-2-0 on Sunday. They started out the day with a 5-1 over HB with excellent goaltending from Paul Richard, but it went down hill from there. They took a 10-3 loss in their next game, extending their winless streak against the Predators to 4 games, only scoring 8 goals during that time. The final game of the day, also ended up in a lop-sided loss, 8-2 to the Flames. The Collective have had their 7 point lead diminish to 2 points, going 3-5-1 in the past three weeks.
